Who I Help!
I work with many families online and face-to-face at my therapy centre in Lifford, Donegal. Through offering online sessions I support children and teenagers struggling with a variety of challenges including anger issues, bullying, sleep problems, night terrors and self-harming no matter where they live! Using child friendly NLP techniques that are effectively adapted to online or in-person sessions, I help young people to reframe their thoughts, develop healthier behaviours, and build resilience.
My approach is personalised to meet the unique needs of each young person, ensuring effective and lasting results.

While I have extensive experience in helping children cope with CONFIDENCE ISSUES, SCHOOL AVOIDANCE, EXAM STRESS, BULLYING and a variety of other issues, my primary focus is on assisting young people with ANXIETY and DEPRESSION.
According to studies, around 1 in 6 young people aged 5 to 16 experience a mental health condition, and the prevalence of anxiety and depression is growing. The pressures of modern life, social media, and academic stress all contribute to this rise, making it crucial to address the mental health needs of young people early on.
Children and young people with ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION face a multitude of challenges that can impact their daily lives and overall well-being. These challenges include:
- Attention and Concentration Difficulties: Struggling to stay focused on tasks, which can lead to academic underperformance and frustration.
- Impulsivity: Acting without thinking, which can result in risky behaviours and difficulties in social interactions.
- Emotional Regulation: Difficulty managing emotions, leading to frequent mood swings and potential conflicts with peers and family.
- Social Interactions: Difficulty maintaining friendships, which can lead to feelings of isolation and low self-esteem.
